Magic with LivestockMany a magician has made a name for himself/herself with the help of livestock. Animal magic is concerned primarily with productions, vanishes and transformations. Almost every creature you can imagine has made it into magic at one time or another. Dove workers exude a special level of class with their performances, while children love the bunnies. If you are not ready to give proper care to an animal, then other areas of magic may serve you better. You will be known by your peers in magic for how you care for your livestock. And, your audiences will pick up on your attitude in a heartbeat. A discussion with your local vet might be a good place to start. Between shows, how much cage space should each animal have? How much work is it to clean the cages? How are the animals transported? How much transport cage space to they have, and what happens at the other end, such as at your hotel? Are you able to spend time with your animals, to train as well as to socialize with them? How well do they get fed and watered? What should you keep an eye out for, medically speaking? Do you or a member of your family have allergies? That could affect living arrangements. Taking care of an animal or animals is a heavy responsibility. For those who are prepared for it, magic with animals is fulfilling and quite rewarding. Page design and Copyright ©2003 Baughan & Company. All rights reserved. | |||||||||
